OK! so update! i got textures and models working! it turns out i just have to make it 16 bit and it'll work!

I also got a pocket station & it's acompanying adapter cable! for some reason, the old vintige rare japan exclusive ps1 acsesory from the 90s was 25$ but the generic ps2 memory card to ps3 adapter cable WAS 70$ AT THE CHEAPEST I COULD FIND?!?!?! i have no idea whats up with that but i mangeged to rangle up enough cash to get it. my current hurdle with that is figuring out how to actually code for it. i got some development tooles from "here" here however i dont know how to compile the program, it may be because i need to implement it into a ps1 game, & have the game "save" the code onto the card

petscop psx is the project that im currently working on right now and is intended to be a port/recreation of petscop for the playstation 1(it's currently being built off this AMAZING 3d graphics test by @rubixcube6 on youtube), since this is a rather daunting and larger task (especially considering i have very limited experience with C & playsation coding other than a scraped atempt at porting fnaf to ps1 that i did around the summer) iv'e decided to "split" this project up into multiple "GENS"(generations) whitch will be the various gens seen in petscop. these gens will cover various goals and land marks, for example gen 1 is focused on recreating the "sort test" as seen in petscop 19, and will focus on testing the level "engine" as well as sprites in a 3d envirnment, both of which i am having trouble with as i cant get my 3d models to load(though there is some idea i have of what im getting wrong, it may have to do with the fact that i had to change the models texture midway through, so its getting all "upset" that its not the same texture as the start, cuz some variable or something stored in the model data, now doesn't fit with the model provided, iduno the model just isn't apearing at all so maybe it's a coding error, which i could easily see, though im not quite sure how i'd fix it, maybe root around in the code for clues) as well as me not knowing how to make sprites in a 3d envirnnment, however i may just make it a plane that tracks the camera(better idea cuz it'll abide by the lighting)

the Târnăcop machine is a device present in the petscop web serise, which is belived to be used in creating the in universe petscop game, like a devkit of sorts, due to it being depicted as a computer i decided id try converting my windows xp laptop that i use for psx development into a Târnăcop machine/pc which would basicaly meen 3d printing & spray painting a case, moving/ adding another cd drive, adding a flopy drive(floppy drive is for completly cosmetic purposes for now), and adding a PC parrellel port car for interfacing with the ps1's parrallel port which i hope to use for potential petscop related acessories, like the needles piano we see in pauls room. i'm also playing with the idea of using a pocket station memory card to make the "care virtual pet" game on there (and potentialy have the other pets and cares on there too) similar to a tomagatchi, though i might change care's state on the pocket station change depending on progress done in the game for example if you were last at the house it'll change to care A, Care B for the school , NLM for under the newmaker plane and EGG for the locker . with the game potentially being downloaded to the pocket station when you save the game! in adition to this i've also thought of using the pocket station calender and clock to set the curent time and date in petscop but hey baby steps!

















current project: dormitabis manifested

right now i'm currently hoping to release my biggest project, dormitabis manifested. this will be a remake of 2016's dormitabis, which hopes to improve apon the old game and add both new ideas, and old ones that were previously scraped. its being made by only one person (me!) since around fall of 2022, so it may take a while but i hope it'll be worth it and that you enjoy, ive poured so much time and work and love and pasion into it and i hope you find it's worth it!
